I am flying down to Medellín for 10 days, mainly to DJ on July 10 for the unveiling of the architect’s plans for a boutique hotel opening up there soon. While I’m down there I am surely going to hunt for other gigs, I’ll keep y’all posted.
Every summer for quite some time now, Grand Performances pieces together great series of free concerts in downtown LA. I am fortunate to be invited to DJ for this fundraiser at Elevate Lounge, a great penthouse spot with sweeping views of downtown LA.

Yes indeedy, I am playing in Tahiti the week end of Valentine’s Day, here’s the full program:
- Thursday February 14, lounge dinner set, downtempo, latin jazz, world fusion, Akwaaba beats. 7pm - 11pm
- Friday February 15, amp up the pahtay, electro, minimal, disco, new wave, Akwaaba. 11pm - 4am
- Saturday February 16, mo’same shyte, with a slightly heavier emphasis on straight up 4/4 dancefloor shiznitz.

Things are starting to shape up quite nicely! I am flying down to Papeete to play records at the Morrison Café, “zee” club in Tahiti, early February, most likely playing the week ends of February 7 and 14… interesting timing, anyone in?

My good friend Vincent opened a restaurant in Santa Monica, a nice lunch spot. This dude is a serious food fanatic, almost everything in there is organic and made on the premises, including his delicious pastries… homeboy’s also been getting good yelpage. So, this Saturday December 15, he is having friends
over for munchies and drinks. And beats, which I will be much obliged to provide!
